PASTOR MIKE I was born again in 1979. After a long battle with my flesh I finally came to the point of surrender. Ya see, I found out that God created me like all others, for fellowship with himself. He made our hearts like a puzzle and left one place for him. Unfortunately we try to fill that place with all the things the world has to offer sex, drugs, rock & roll. Well the first 10 years of my Christianity was great. Serving others gave me more joy than I could ever imagine. Then a problem arose. I realized that I was telling people the truth (God's word), but I personally was living a lie. Ya see, I got off my harley unto a church bus and God knew that I was more content on that bike then that bus. So one day the Holy Spirit put on my heart to return to where I once came, the scooter world. Well I started to grow my hair & beard and freaked a lot of people out, but I loved and respected my pastor, and his advice was to go for it. I started a bible study for bikers that soon grew into Church In The Wind. And here we are today, still serving the Lord & fighting sin, through Church In The Wind. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 2 Corinthians 13:14 Lord Bless, Pastor Mike

I was born a heathen (like everyone else)…began riding dirt bikes at the early age of 6, eventually also riding street bikes. Partied hard for many years, drinkin’ and druggin’. Was a drunk until “circumstances” brought me to my senses. Shortly thereafter began attending AA meetings, and after a couple of years, Jesus drew me to Himself, revealed the fallacy of once a drunk always a drunk. Matthew 15:14 says “ … If the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch”. Jesus set me free. John 14:6 says, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me”. The Lord Jesus Christ orchestrated a girl to move in next door, invite me to church, and as the saying goes, “went looking for love and found it, and got to keep the girl”. I have been saved by the blood of the Lamb since 1991. In 1997 my wife and I moved to Albuquerque to attend the School of Ministry at Calvary Chapel and I then continued in the Shepherd School. Upon completion, I started Calvary Chapel of Yarnell, Arizona and pastored there for five years. I currently pastor at Church in the Wind. Lord Bless, Pastor Jim
